Overview
At MoneyMotion 2025, we presented ChainVerify, our flagship product under the CertHub brand — a blockchain-based platform for issuing, managing, and verifying documents with cryptographic integrity.
ChainVerify simplifies digital document trust for institutions and their users. From diplomas to legal certificates, every issued file is anchored on-chain with an immutable fingerprint, enabling instant public verification without intermediaries.
Key Features
- Web Dashboard for Institutions: Onboarding flow with KYC, keypair generation, and document issuance limits via subscriptions.
- Decentralized Verification: Each document hash is published on-chain, making validation possible even if CertHub ceases operations.
- API Access for Developers: Secure API key system allowing programmatic document issuance and verification.
- Proof of Authenticity: PDF downloads include embedded QR codes that link to on-chain proof records.
- SaaS Billing Layer: Monthly plans with capped documents and automatic blockchain fee handling behind the scenes.
Technologies Used
- Solana (or other): For low-cost, high-speed transaction publishing.
- Next.js: Frontend framework for dashboard + public explorer.
- Node.js + Express: Backend middleware for blockchain interactions and API authentication.
- PostgreSQL + Supabase: User + document data storage.
- Tailwind CSS: Clean, responsive design system across components.
- Fleek/IPFS: Permanent storage layer for documents (optional).
Challenges and Learnings
We had to strike a balance between UX simplicity and blockchain complexity. Institutions were not Web3-native, so we abstracted away wallets, signing, and gas — while still ensuring cryptographic integrity behind every action.
We also learned the importance of scalable architecture, building around a multi-tenant SaaS model that supports future whitelabel use cases or region-specific regulation compliance.
Outcome
ChainVerify is now in active pilot with multiple universities and government offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its presentation at MoneyMotion 2025 drew interest from fintech VCs and compliance startups.
We’re currently onboarding design partners and working on broader integrations with academic institutions and identity providers.
